The name Bob Lazar is familiar to anybody even mildly interested in the UFO or UAP phenomenon. It was over 37 years ago that Lazar came forward under the name “Dennis” to speak with journalist George Knapp about what he claimed to have witnessed near Area 51. You may recall the whistleblower’s drawing of a ‘Sport Model’ flying saucer or an unknown‘Element 115’ that scientists added to the periodic table a decade later. (Unununpentium, then later Moscovium)
And there was even Lazar’s lesser-known story about a stack of classified documents about religion, a genetically modified Jesus, and the idea that ETS call humans ‘Containers.’
From the 80s to Disclosure Day 2026
Back in the late 80s, the claims may have made it easy to associate Lazar’s name with the word ‘Bizarre,’ but times they are a-changing. Today, the day before the 250th birthday of the USA, July 4, 2026, Bob Lazar, Ancient Aliens, and experiencers in general are in a different world. As are we all, for better and worse.
Maybe ironically, there is a big movement toward ‘Disclosure’ happening as the current government has released some UFO files, with more apparently on the way. At the moment, the subject is certainly mainstream. But who can say how long that will last?
Others, like Dr. Steven Greer and the Bledsoe family, have long warned about the potential for ongoing misinformation or counterintelligence, while agreeing that ‘disclosure’ is essentially already here. At the same time, we have the new Spielberg film, Disclosure Day, which is further raising the public’s awareness. And there’s a new Amazon Prime film titled “S4: The Bob Lazar Story.”
From ‘Nothing To See Here’ to Angels and Demons?
Right now, the topic of UFOs/UAPs feels entirely different from just a couple of years ago, when the government was still insisting there was no evidence of extraterrestrial technology at all. Huh.
Nevertheless, over the last few years, the narrative about nuts-and-bolts flying saucers has shifted noticeably toward the realm of the supernatural and consciousness. To spirituality and angels or demons, with many opinions flying around about the reality. Of course, very few people have claimed they know firsthand, with Chris Bledoe and Steven Greer among the best-known of the rare few who have widely documented and discussed close encounters, including First- through Fifth-Kind encounters.
With all the latest ET news whirling around, as if a distraction perhaps, you may see Bob Lazar’s 1989 story resurrected again, including the bits about Jesus and religion.
One can see why, as the mainstream posts stories about how UFO disclosure may impact world religions. And Vice President Vance has declared it’s ‘demons’ for whatever motive or reason.
Bob Lazar’s Story: Jesus and Other Religious Figures Engineered by ETs?
As you can imagine, saying aliens genetically engineered Jesus must have been incredibly shocking in the late 80s. And it still is.
So what did Lazar actually say then?
Well, preface this by saying Lazar was clearly reluctant to share the story about Jesus. After some prodding by the interviewer on the KLAS-TV series with George Knapp, he finally talked about it. Also, keep in mind that Lazar said he has no hardcore proof but claimed to have seen a thick stack of classified documents on the subject of religion and ETs.
‘Um, all right. I’ll say it’s just it’s so far out,’ said Lazar after being asked about the subject.
‘All right, your objection has been noted. What does it say?’ asked the interviewer.
‘That we’re a container. That’s how, supposedly, the aliens look at us. That we are nothing but containers.
‘Containers of?’ asked the interviewer.
‘Containers,’ answered Lazar. ‘Maybe containers of souls. You can come up with whatever theory you want. That we’re containers. And that’s how we’re mentioned in the documents.”
Religion to Avoid Damaging the Soul or Container?
Continuing, Lazar said, ‘That religion was specifically created. So we have some rules and regulations for the sole purpose of not damaging the containers.
“The souls?’ said the interviewer.
‘Well, the souls or the bodies, whatever,’ said Lazar.
‘Meaning we’re containers for souls that they’re going to use at some other point?’ said the interviewer.
‘Right,’ answered Lazar. (Note this was not his idea but the interviewers)
‘And that they had something to do with different prophets and biblical figures?’ asked the interviewer.
‘Yes,’ said Lazar, going on to say, ‘Well, then that supposedly Jesus and two other beings were genetically engineered. They were implanted in people on Earth in biblical times, and their births were closely monitored.’
‘Now just some little connections to that that my wife had brought up where in the Bible they said that the star had followed Mary wherever she went and you know that all UFO sightings always start out as people, ‘Well, gee, that looks like a bright star,’ and well in fact they said in the Bible the brightest star in the sky followed her where she went and you just make little connections like that.’

Interpretations About Jesus and DNA
As someone who studies ancient Egyptian Neterian beliefs and has always been interested in UFOs and the metaphysical, I didn’t find Lazar’s story too shocking, really. That said, I’ve also seen the story from David Wilcock about ‘Black Jesus’ in the 1960s. Although that’s an even more shocking story, we won’t explore it here.
So, why isn’t this idea about Jesus shocking? Because if you study ancient eastern esoteric spiritual systems, whether Egyptian, Hindu, Sikhism, or Gnostic Christianity, or Buddhism, the conception of a Jesus figure is not about a particular physical person, but about the idea of attaining Christ consciousness. It’s about the individual, ordinary person reaching a higher level of consciousness by letting go of the ego and realizing oneness with the loving divine. Letting go of the ego’s ideas that our container, our physical bodies, are the abiding reality when the only thing that remains is what’s in the container, our souls.
And of highest importance, reaching higher consciousness is possible for anyone, though few attain it because they focus mostly on their superficial ‘containers’ and related material concerns. Certainly, that’s what we’re known for in the West, right? Thus, only a few reach an enlightened state, with Jesus being but one of fellow ‘ascended masters,’ both men and women. (As for the rest of us, we may expect to reincarnate over and over until we get it right.)
Why Would Malevolent ETs Want Us to Learn from Jesus?
Thus, if we consider the Lazar story to be true and Jesus was just a man who ETs changed in some way, then it would also suggest that it’s attainable for any human being. And there’s even the biblical story of Lazarus (which sounds a bit like Lazar?) in which Jesus raised him from the dead.
From another viewpoint, even if we take the idea literally that ETs took Jesus aboard a craft and medically altered his genetics, then consider the motive. Apparently, they wanted humanity to have a spiritual leader who taught them not to be A-holes, to have empathy and caring for others, even the most disadvantaged and socially rejected. And the reason for religion was hypothetically so we would not damage our containers, a temporary place for the eternal soul to experience 3D reality. Overall, it doesn’t seem malevolent, does it? But you can entertain whatever ideas you like about the dubious intent of ‘aliens’ harvesting souls by placing Jesus here.
Jesus as a Light Being with Christ Consciousness
As for extraterrestrials, we’ve already explored the possibility that people consider them angels, demons or, certainly, deities. It doesn’t mean you have to go full Ancient Aliens and believe they are physical beings like us, although have at it if you like. But, as of today, I don’t see the proof. Therefore, the door to the craft remains open.
So, perhaps these phenomena include interdimensional light beings from higher levels of consciousness, as described in Eastern spiritual systems. That’s what the ancient Egyptians alluded to with the ancient story of Horus, and it was also part of early Gnostic Christian belief as described in the Nag Hammadi Library. And these higher beings may incarnate on the world in human form, when the world is in chaos and needs assistance.
So you see, there is not necessarily a threat to religion at all. However, it may require a shift in perspective. Unfortunately, those in power seem to have suppressed that perspective to disempower the individual. Now, could that be the real demons’ doing?
Change in DNA Through ETs or Meditation?
Back to Lazar: He mentioned that ETs ‘implanted’ Jesus on Earth. This goes back to the idea of higher beings incarnating as Avatars, mirroring beliefs such as those in Buddhism.
From this statement, we can speculate that the ETs brought him aboard a craft for medical intervention to alter his DNA. On the other hand, you could view this as higher beings guiding Jesus to attain their level of Christ consciousness, which may have changed his DNA as a result.
For example, in a 2021 interview with Demi Lovato, Steven Greer, a former medical doctor and meditation teacher, talked about studies in epigenetics and how deep states of meditation can alter our bodies. While in meditation, latent DNA, also known as ‘junk DNA,’ turns on. Moreover, Greer explained that meditation may even increase IQ and form new neural connections in regular practitioners. Thus, consciousness does have the real potential to physically change people.
Even so, Greer claimed that humans’ IQ may remain relatively low compared to beings from a place such as Andromeda, where they may have over twice our intellectual ability. A little humbling but also inspiring.
Unlocking Latent Psychic Abilities?
Similarly, Chris Bledsoe suggested in a recent post that we all have the ability to attain higher consciousness, become psychic, or even have telepathic communication abilities with higher beings. And he is not alone in those assertions if you follow the subject on social media. Yet, according to him, there are people preventing humanity from achieving such abilities because, if we did, they couldn’t deceive us anymore! Again, who is the ‘demon’ in that scenario?
Now, think about how this relates to world religions and systems, which may not have wanted people to realize that something akin to Christ consciousness is a pursuit for ordinary people. Instead, it could apply to people worldwide.
Certainly, such an idea doesn’t mean you have to abandon your faith whatsoever! On the contrary, it may require an adjustment, seeing things through a new lens. And that view empowers you and helps you find your personal connection to your version of ‘god’ or Jesus or whatever. And for someone like me, it has been a wonderful revelation that rings TRUE!
A Universal ‘Disclosure’
As we celebrate July 4th in the United States and our Birthday, it feels different. For a long time, things have been worsening politically, and it seems we’re more divided than ever in modern history. Watching the grim news, it seems the world is on the edge of many concurrent disasters. At the same time, we’re watching ‘Disclosure’ play out and contemplating our place in the wider universe. While some see demons, others see the extraordinary, angels or advanced ET civilizations we could only dream of.
In the 2021 interview with Demi Lovato, Greer also explained that overcoming the divisiveness threatening our world will require a new spiritual understanding.
“It isn’t enough to say we’re all One People. We have to say we’re all One Universal People, because now we’re dealing with intelligent lifeforms that aren’t even human. And how do we transcend this tendency we all have to break into fighting, little groups and become one, peacefully? I think the answer is not necessarily religious, but deeply spiritual: this understanding that we’re all conscious beings, and that consciousness and this spirit is actually universal,” said Greer. “That the light in your eyes and mine, and the awareness we have, is the same awareness an ET from the Andromeda Galaxy has.”
For some reason, we’ve restricted our perspective in the West. Yet, seeing the bigger universal picture may ultimately be in our very makeup and unavoidable. Despite those who would prefer otherwise, it’s a matter of time before we take the next step in our spiritual evolution. And nothing is stopping you right now.
“I think humans have had an ancient, long-term connection to these people from the stars. And it’s only in relatively modern Western civilization times that that was sort of stamped out of our cultural history. But I think that that is real, and I think it’s actually in our genes that we have this connection,” Greer told Lovato (28:10).
